Hi, I’m Annette! Like most individuals I have experienced setbacks in life as the result of accidents, sports injuries and job-related repetitive strains and postural compensations in the body. It was my own healing journey that led me Structural Integration.

In 2012 I experienced the work first hand. It was that experience that inspired me to become a practitioner. While completing the 10 series I witnessed first-hand the impact of each session. I started to feel my body open up and begin to lengthen. I experienced shifts in my body that gave me more movement and fluidity in areas that I didn’t even know I was restricted until it was released. As we worked through each session, I could sense that one session was building on the next and so on. I felt lighter, lifted more open. I had more energy in general and started to approach my day with a renewed positivity and freshness. By the time I completed the 10 series I knew that I needed to learn this work so that I could share the benefits of receiving it with others. I completed the 500hr training and in 2015 I certified as Rolf Method of Structural Integration Practitioner.

In 2017 Balance Massage & Wellness was formed creating the desire to expand my knowledge and offerings. In 2020 to further complement and round out my skill set I returned to the classroom once again completing the CYA 200 yoga teacher training certification.

Today as an RMT, Certified Structural Integrator and Certified Yoga teacher, I am inspired to help people live as pain free as possible! Drawing on my knowledge and skill set I enjoy facilitating the process of integration- body and movement.  My goal is to leave an individual with the necessary knowledge, empowering them with the tools to create greater body awareness so they can continue the process of healing in the comfort of their own home.

I look forward to working with you.

With gratitude,

Annette
